What is XenoElectronics?

XenoElectronics is a personal project of mine Andrew.

My goal is to explain IT technology as simply as possible and to present open source technologies for all kinds of usecasses.

What is your motivation?

I have been learning IT technical stuff for at least a decade and have implemented all kinds of projects. Now I want to share my knowledge with others because I realized that some things you find on Youtube or in documentations are not really detailed or often don’t help you at all.

Especially Linux I want to share about, because there is a lot of miss information about it. Especially when it comes to gamming or desktop use.

So my goal is to teach these things to the masses.

How do you make this website?

I am developing this site with HUGO. HUGO is a static site generator framework. I just liked it more than all the website builders on the market.

It’s harder to use at first, but it fits my workflow better, because it uses Markdown for page creation and I am familiar with it. In addition, you can edit everything faster than with website builders.

Why the Name XenoElectronics

#

Xeno is a prefix derived from the Greek word “xenos,” meaning “foreign,” “strange,”, “Different”.

So it can also be interpreted as DifferentElectronics. Because that’s exactly what we do. We explain how you can really protect yourself, manage servers, host things yourself, secure websites and so much more. Without telling you business bullshit where you only have to pay for a product without end that dosent even help you.

Because we show you how IT and electronics really work, we are different, we are XenoElectronics.
