What is XenoElectronics?#
XenoElectronics is an owner-managed IT company founded by me, Andreas Janshen. My goal is to make complex IT technology understandable and manageable. I support individuals and businesses in setting up their IT securely, cost-effectively, and independently. Whether you rely on proven Windows environments or want to take the step towards digital independence with Open Source solutions.

As a trained network and security administrator, your safety is close to my heart. But security also means independence. Our control over software is dwindling as it lies increasingly in the hands of a few large tech corporations. That is why I encourage people and companies to use Open Source Software and Self-Hosting.
Only when you host your data yourself do you truly know what happens to it. I help you regain this freedom – without losing comfort.
Why the name XenoElectronics?#
“Xenos” comes from Greek and means “different” or “foreign”. That is exactly my approach: Different Electronics.
I do IT differently than the usual “tech jargon”:
- Transparent: No hidden subscriptions, no “black box”.
- Honest: I don’t sell you hardware you don’t need.
- Understandable: I explain IT to you in a way that leaves no questions unanswered.
